Everdune is my spacesynth project founded around 2007. Known for its immersive, retro-futuristic soundscapes and cosmic themes, Everdune blends the classic appeal of 80s synthesizers with modern electronic elements, creating a unique auditory journey through space and time.
Everdune's debut album, Legend of the Aces, was released in 2011 by the Alpha Centauri record label, quickly establishing the project as a force in the spacesynth genre. The album's soaring melodies and cinematic arrangements captured the essence of interstellar adventure and set the tone for Everdune's future releases.
In 2014, Everdune took a more independent approach with the release of Spaceventure, which I self-released. This album marked a further evolution of Everdune's sound, blending nostalgic 80s synthwave influences with bold new ideas.
The project continued after a long break with the release of Cyborg Nation in 2021, and The Aces Strike Back in 2024—both released through my own record label, Lightracermusic. These albums offered rich, atmospheric compositions that transport listeners to far-off worlds.

I don't know if you've ever wondered what this "ace thing" of Everdune really is? Especially my album "Legend of the Aces" and many tracks of mine containing "aces" in the track titles. This thing actually goes back to 2007-2008 when I started my Everdune project. Before Everdune I had a music project called ST Arts and a song called "Aces of Space". Originally, this song was one of the first so-called of my spacesynth songs and it actually evoked quite a lot of positive feedback from listeners at the time. When I started my Everdune project, I rereleased the track, officially. From then on, these aces actually took on a life of their own. They are a bit like "Space Raiders" are to Rygar.
About the "Legend of the Aces" album: the main story of the album is told in the speech of Desert Empire track. It is about two freedom warriors, "the aces", that has almost impossible mission: to take down the evil emperor of Desert Empire. Did they succeed? That is not clearly told by the album itself. Listen to the album and make your own conclusions. And to make things even more complicated, the whole story is not told in the album, yet.
I released the Spaceventure record approx. three years after Legend of the Aces and the idea was that the story of the aces would continue more clearly around the cyberpunk space theme. The story of Spaceventure is more obscure than its predecessor, its story is a more general sci-fi adventure that includes neuroscience, future technology, the fight between good and bad and chases and mysterious places on alien planets. There is no desert empire or emperor this time – but more like some kind of space renegades who causes lots of trouble around.
The cover image shows one of those “space aces” making contact with his allies. Originally there was another cover art version, but soon after I didn’t like it and I made another one. Spaceventure is also the first album of mine that I produced entirely by myself.
